I think I got the point. The problem was with the brush'es 'flow' ability to be controlled with stylus pressure. I did not use it and edges looked too rough..
Thank you for help! :w00t:
In closest time i will work wih digital painting closer after a two year break. And i will be able to show you something :)

Well, you understood what I was trying to say.
I don't know why it's not working out for you.
But I can't really give tips since you don't have any work I can see.

Sorry, but I am not so good at English. You mean mountains, pieces of ice and sky are cut out from different photos and placed up on this work to match the sketch that's on the bottom?

Awesome!:) I would like to paint this way too!:D I paint on canvas with oils, but how on a PC? I can't get it.. Have you studied in some kind of an art school?

Thanks.
Yes, I went to art school, studying illustration. But I started painting digitally after that.
It's not the technology that makes a difference, it's how well you can observe and apply this knowledge to your work.
I made this piece with Photoshop and a Wacom tablet.
It is a very different technique than traditional painting and takes some getting used to.
Note however, that the base layer is purely sketched out for composition purposes but photographic plates are manipulated afterwards to match the original sketch. This is basically what mattepainting consists of.
This painting is just stuck in it's concept fase since I wanted to do something rather quick and not photoreal.

Sorry, replied on the page, where your sketch is..

Then you fill in places between placed photos with brushes and soften edges to make picture more real?
I have a cheap "Trust" tablet and PS. I have tried to paint, but still did not get, how pictures are made so realistic, as your sketch, for example.
I have finished an art College, but we did not have digital painting or something like that :(
I like the photorealistic style and it's mine on canvas with oils, but i can't get pictures same real on a pc :(
Can you tell me hot to get, please, if it is not a secret?
